The role of the turn signal

The main function of the turn signal is to warn the surrounding traffic participants through flashing light signals when the vehicle changes the direction of travel, indicating that the rider 

is about to turn or change lanes. This helps prevent collisions caused by sudden swerving, especially at busy intersections or in poor visibility.

How to use the turn signal

Start the electric car: Insert the electric car key into the keyhole and turn it to the right to turn on the power until the LCD screen lights up.

Position the turn signal switch: The turn signal switch is usually located near the left handle and is designed in the form of a rod or button.

Operation turn signal:

Turn left: Flip the turn signal switch downward, and the left turn indicator on the instrument panel should start blinking.

Right turn: Flip the turn signal switch upward, and the right turn indicator on the dashboard should start blinking.

Confirmation signal: Before actually turning, you should briefly look in the rearview mirror and blind area to confirm that the surrounding traffic conditions allow turning.

Turn off after steering: In most cases, after the steering action is completed, the steering light will automatically turn off as the steering wheel is righted. However, in some cases, manual 

shutdown may be required.

Turn signal maintenance and troubleshooting

Regular inspection: Ensure that the turn signal is working properly, including checking whether the bulb is intact and whether the wire is broken or exposed.

Troubleshooting: If the turn signal is not bright or blinking abnormally, you should first check whether the bulb is burned, and then check whether the line connection is stable, if necessary, 

use a multi-meter to detect the line voltage.

Professional maintenance: When encountering complex problems, it is recommended to seek the help of professional and technical personnel to avoid further damage caused by improper 

handling.
